Description:
Client is seeking a talented Technical Lead to lead implementation of the SAP Technical Development track as part of a multi-year and multi-phase deployment of SAP projects and initiatives across the Americas region.

As an SAP Technical Lead you will be responsible for information solution design for projects that have a significant data, application and integration architecture components. You will ensure that the design fits in within the overall architecture strategy framework and meets all business requirements.

As an SAP Technical Lead you will be instrumental in the success of each project through contributions are listed below

Working with functional and business teams to gather business user requirements and drive functional and technical designs
Defining enterprise architecture requirements/design and support technical architecture design decisions
Defining and proposing solutions options along with effort estimations to deploy SAP PI; ensure that scope of solution is manageable
Interfacing with all stakeholders including senior managers and c-level executives to capture business requirements; support a wide range of business groups including Finance, Sales, Distribution, Supply Chain, and HR
Rendering advice to senior IT management on SAP PI best business practices and get the buy-in to adopt these practices
Creating solution road map, integrating multiple disparate processes, and addressing short and long term organizational needs
Research complex application integration issues with functional teams; examine integration between various systems (SAP and non-SAP) for inconsistencies, review transformation logic and propose corrective alternatives
Lead teams to deliver projects on time and on budget with a high degree of quality
Work with your own team (systems analysts, developers etc) and cross-functional project team compositions to accomplish PI development, testing and deployments
Leading creation of detailed solution documentation and presentations
Leveraging standard processes and architecting innovative solutions for timely execution of the project within the agreed time lines and the cost
Day-to-day maintenance of production application systems
Participating in Disaster Recovery testing to help ensure business continuance
Assist in hiring, motivating, evaluating, developing group/department personnel
Provide coaching and mentoring to team members


Requirements

Have a minimum of 10 years of hands-on experience in implementing and supporting SAP/PI
Have good interpersonal, listening, verbal and written communication skills
Enjoy working within a team while possessing a strong independent work ethic
Project experience with SAP PI 7.3 preferred
Have knowledge of Net Weaver Development Infrastructure / SLD
Have knowledge of integration between SAP products (i.e. ECC, GTS, etc.) and non-SAP systems using IDOC, ABAP proxy, file, web service and MQ interface types
Have hands on experience in adapter techniques like JDBC, FTP, HTTP, SOAP, File and RFC
Have good knowledge of ABAP and JAVA developments
Have exposure to SAP Solution manager as monitoring tool for SAP PI
Have extensive experience with XML, XSLT and web technologies
Have good knowledge of network protocols and security standards
Have the ability to work with the functional and technical teams to collect overall PI requirements, design, develop and configure PI repository objects; make recommendations on performance tuning and maintenance of the PI system to the infrastructure and Basis team
Have good knowledge about PI/XI error handling strategy
Experience in XL sizing and message achival strategy will be advantageous
Have demonstrated experienced as a key contributor to multiple end-to-end SAP implementation projects
Have worked on projects using Accelerated SAP methodology for implementations
Completion of a Bachelor's degree or equilvant experience (B.S. or B.A.)
